Miss Coles Portland Place School Portland Place London W1B 1NJ 5th March 2013 To whom this may concern, I am writing to complain about the dreadful noises I have heard coming from the Year 6 Blue classroom in recent days. The constant hum of chatter, laughing and intellectual conversation which has drifted through the walls to my office has been an enormous source of irritation to myself and my colleagues. You seem to be oblivious to the fact that we are in school; a place which is not designed to be any fun whatsoever. How is any learning happening in your classroom if children are even talking to each other let alone finding anything to laugh about? This must stop!
